pregnant with twins and bleeding

I starting spotting brown yesterday afternoon it's not heavy but had some pain with it also. of course I got very worried. I called my doctor this morning and they saw me at 9 this morning. when my doctor did my exam he had some brown bleeding after he said it was old blood and possibly from the twins implanting in my uterus, I am 7 weeks 5 days, he said my cervix is closed but wants me on complete bed rest until Sunday. I am freaking out because I don't know really what's going on. I am now back home in bed but just wondering has anyone else had this experience. hopefully I get good responses thank you !
