Hi, has anyone have any tips of how to sleep train your baby?

My partner usually takes up all the space during sleep, co-sleeping with the little one leaves me with no space either, it’s a real strain on my sleep and my back. Any tips appreciated, would really like a good sleep for once.

We are trying our own version of cry it out. We sing to her and rock her until drowsy then put her in the crib and walk out. We let her cry for around 5 minutes or until she gets absolutely hysterical then pick her up for a minute. Usually she calms down and falls into a light sleep and we put her back down and walk out. It takes about 3 tries before she finally falls asleep on her own in the crib.                                                             We tried the full on cry it out but she would literally cry for like an hour so find what works for you, but try something for a few days before changing it up.    Good luck!

I just transitioned my daughter to her crib this past weekend and she has done great! We do the same routine every night: feed her dinner (solids) 1-2 hours before bed. Then bath, diaper, nighttime lotion, pajamas and sleep sack. Then I nurse her, read her a book, lay her down and sing her a song or two and say goodnight. Then I turn on her sound machine and turn off the lights. There will for sure be tears the first few nights but it’ll get better! If she gets really worked up I just go in and sing to her again and rub her back. Hope this helps!
