Nervous for delivery?

This is my first, a baby girl, and as my due date approaches (April 19) I feel more and more nervous. I’ve shared that with my docs but they’ve dealt with it so many times their responses are “that’s normal” etc. Anyone else nervous and/or do any Mama’s have advice for us newbies? Thanks! 🤗

I’m also a first time mom and I’m due 2 days after you on the 21st 😁 Im pretty nervous too, mainly because I don’t know what to expect with pain 😭

It doesn’t help but it’s 100% normal. My first labor wasn’t exactly as planned, but it helped to know that it was temporary and when it was done I would get to meet my baby. Once you see your baby for the first time you really do forget about how hard it was and realize you would have gone through anything at all, happily, because it brings them into the world. You’ve got this!!!!

FTM here and also having a baby girl! I'm due in 3.5 weeks and definitely getting a little nervous as I don't know what to expect once labour starts! I'm trying to do as much research as possible and hear realistic birth stories, but it's so hard as all births are unique and not everyone reacts the same way!

Best of luck to you ladies! I honestly can’t offer much advice. Doctors and nurses help you through. You are going to do awesome. It probably won’t be this miracle wonderful thing you read about online, but you’ll do fine and you might even volunteer to do it again. I’m nervous too.

I’m 37 weeks and being induced tomorrow. FTM. I thankfully have not been nervous yet! Honestly I just don’t think about it. And if I start to i do something to occupy my thoughts. I’ve been told the more positive you are the better it’s going to be. And to remember it’s not as painful as you think it is and it is temporary. Plus we get cute babies to take home!

I'm also a newbie and have very intense days of feeling nervous and anxious. What I try to do is stay away from caffeine, have peaceful music playing in the background, and listen to guided hypnobirthing videos on YouTube. You're not alone!

Second baby but we have to drive 2 hours to get to the hospital so I’m even more nervous then the last time😖 15 min drive with our first was nothing.
