Who hand washes dishes?

I’ve been overly concerned about ingesting bacteria throughout pregnancy. One thin that made me feel safe, was the fact that I had a dish washer that washed my dishes on high heat. 
We’ve moved and those days are gone. Should I be concerned about food safety regarding the fact the my dishes no longer are Sterilized by heat? Anyone else asking their dishes by hand the old fashioned way?

I feel way safer washing dishes by hand because dishwashers can have some serious build up issues. Unless they're new and fancy then I guess they're okay lol...but my rental has an old one so I do everything by hand

I have a dishwasher but I hand wash. Our water gets boiling hot so I just fill one side of the sink up and let the dishes soak before I actually do them. As long as you’re using hot water and regularly buying new sponges you should be fine

My dish washer is new I don't trust it lol, I always handwash and then rinse with hot water.

I only hand wash my dishes, even tho I have a dishwasher, I don’t use it. 
I also, replace my sponge every 4 days if it’s bad or every week.

I don't own a dishwasher. I wash with dawn and super hot water.

i hand wash my dishes an are find they sell antibacterial dish soap if that will make you feel better you're fine people did it for many years before dishwashers came out and we're all fine
