Stabbing twinge in my cervix. What is happening?

I have a sharp, twingy, almost stabbing feeling in my cervix area. What is this? I’m 37+2

It could be baby bumping your cervix, or lightening crotch!

I sometimes get those when baby kicks me in that area, but I’m 29 weeks and baby hasn’t flipped yet. So I’m not sure! :/

It’s lightning crotch. Which is caused by the weight applied to you cervix. I have gotten it at various points throughout my pregnancy. It can just be the weight of the pregnancy or the pressure from baby. My doctor said it isn’t really a sign of on coming labor though.
