ny ladies out there with this blood type? Care for sharing ttc details? I'm curious.

I am! My doctor says he thinks that's why I miscarried last time, since my husband is positive. They gave me a shot of rhogam, and this pregnancy is going much smoother so far! Supposed to have another shot in late pregnancy, and then I think another after delivery.

​It was so weird when they explained it to me when I miscarried. I'd never heard of any of this! And none of my family is negative. Lucky meee, haha.

I am also. I've had two miscarriages and a few chemical pregnancies. I'm convinced this has something to do with it!

RH factor has nothing to do with being able to concieve. All it does is tell the doctor weather you need a shot to prevent your body from killing your child. A negative RH factor is fine  on your first pregnancy, but any other you need a shot so your body doesn't attack. You will build up antibodies towards the baby, so it will think the baby is foreign and attack.  I used to know more details but I can look it up in my biology book again if you want. But that's all the RH factors role is.

I'm rh negative, it's caused me no troubles conceiving before. 
​But yes you have to get the shots and if you have a miscarriage or any troubles in the early few weeks they will give you a shot. I had bleeding  with my last baby from somewhere in the uterus and they said the baby was fine and I just needed the shot.

I'm O negitive so I guess I am also rh negitive. I've been ttc for 6 months.. Maybe that's why it's taken a while? I was on nuvaring and that's out of your system in a matter of hours.

How do you know if your Rh negative? Can you still be Rh negative if your blood type is O+?

What the doctors have told me is that is need the shots early pregnancy, since it's evident my body fights hard to fight off the pregnancy as well. I guess everyone's body is different.

I'm RH negative, husband is positive. My older sister is RH neg too! I'm going to bring it up at my doctors appointment in a couple of weeks.

I'm rh neg, and hubby is pos! So I've got to have shots early in pregnancy as my body try's to reject the pregnancy!! I fight hard to fall pregnant then fight even harder to keep the pregnancy. Good luck
