27 weeks and measurements!

Had an ultrasound today and baby is measuring “on time.” Early on, they told me I was 11 days behind which was IMPOSSIBLE based on ovulation and conception. I had sex September 21st or 22nd as well as September 24th or 25th of 2017. Could’ve even been the 26th (so long ago I don’t remember). Those were the only two times I had sex and according to my apps, I ovulated September 28th or 29th. According to doctors, my most accurate scan was in November and he measured 10 weeks 2 days. I honestly didn’t agree with that because those measurements were too off - by more than a week. My next scan at 20 weeks showed that he had caught up by a week, which made me feel better - but it still irritates me that the doctors go by the original scan date. I see all the images they take on the ultrasound machine and they come out to what I should be measuring according to ovulation, but they still insist on using that old due date and measurement. I decided to go with my own due date of June 21st instead of June 25th because that is accurately based on ovulation! I know it’s silly because it’s only a few days, and I know ultrasound machines are estimates anyways, but it makes me feel better. As of today, Jack weighs 2 lbs 5 oz! Jack kept moving around so much they couldn’t get a good picture to send me home with, but everything looked normal and he’s healthy. I’m so happy 😌
*Edit* — I should also note my periods are very regular. I’ve never been on birth control and they’re always within a 3 day time frame - average cycle is 26 days.
