Finally started leave at a couple days before 38 weeks! I went for my weekly appointment today and I am now dilated 1 cm and cervix 50% thinned when just two days ago (at ER for contractions) i was not dilated at all and cervix was softening. I’ve been having pretty painful contractions and cramping so my doctor wrote me a note to go out of work now. I feel so relieved that I can be at home, especially while dealing with so much pain. Hoping baby decides to come sooner than later! Doctor said he wouldn’t be surprised if I didn’t make it to my due date with the way I’m progressing!
