low Iodine diet?

Anyone know if i can drink diet coke on the low iodine diet? I'm going in for a radioactive iodine uptake test in a week.

I know this is a little late for a response but I myself am going in for a radioactive uptake test and the only things they told me not to eat were shellfish, broccoli, cauliflower, kale I think dogs was okay. How did your test go? Trying to find other people who are going through similar situation.
