Not dilated yet?

I'm 37 weeks 2 days and had a check done today, and cervix still high, closed and no dilation or thinning.. 
Doctor was okay with that, she said he is head down.. Which I knew that already from a growth ultrasound I had done

Though you are technical full term it's still pretty early. Your Dr wasn't concerned because she probably sees it all the time. It's not uncommon to go past your due date either so you have plenty of time. I wouldn't worry too much about it

Not a big deal pretty common, if you were dilated it would probably be like a 1 all the way tell you were in labor. Being dilated doesn't really mean a whole lot until it comes to labor.
