Blood in stool?

Question

I just used the restroom and when I wiped I noticed blood on the toilet paper, so when I looked in the toilet there was blood in my poop. Bright red blood.
The last 3 days I have been constipated, and today it was easier to pass stool but it was still firm. Could that be why? I don’t have any pain, just kind of shocked and concerned!

Bright red blood means the issue it towards the end of your colon. So it’s most likely fissures or hemorrhoids - both can come from constipation

You should get it checked. You could have internal hemorrhoids or something more serious.
