Neither one of you should be hitting one another. That is abuse. If you do hit him, you are risking him hurting you back. You better be careful because someday somebody could really hurt you. You need to go to break up and go to therapy and figure out a new way to cope with your anger because you can’t hit your partner. Nobody should be hitting anyone. It is not OK. I don’t think either one of you should be in any relationship until you learn how to deal with conflict without violence, and you especially should not be in a relationship with one another. This is not love.

Some people need to keep their hands to themselves. Why would you put your hands on your partner in the first place? And then you expect him not to hit you back. He's not your kid. I'm sorry and I might get thrown under the bus for this one but I don't care. It doesn't matter who it is but if you put your hand on anyone you should be prepared to get hit back its simple as that. I'm tired of some of these women thinking they can beat up on the SO and he should it them because a men not surpose to hit a woman. Definitely go see a therapist and keep your hands to yourself.
