I have a stye and it won't leave

I have a stye on my eye and I'm so self conscious about it. I used to love love my eyes but after I got it around 11th grade, now a sophomore in college, I've hated it. What's worse is my parents, especially my mom, constantly point it out. I try and try to get rid of it but idk how! Please please help me.
