My poor friend

Just wanna vent. My poor friend is soo sick right now. She’s got probably a cold, hopefully not the flu. Terrible congestion, super bad headache so bad it’s making her teeth hurt, sore throat, terrible fatigue and body aches. She’s crying she’s so sick. She’s been taking Tylenol every so many hours and it doesn’t help. It’s 2:30 am and she has to work at 7 am and HAS to work or she’ll be fired from calling in sick. She works in health care, it’s so ass backwards but she doesn’t have any sick or vacation time to cover her in order to be able to miss. I just feel so bad for her. Does anyone have any advice or words of encouragement? I told her she has to put herself first but I understand that can be hard when you obviously need a job to live and get through life but it’s not like she’s gonna be very useful with how sick she is. I tell her go in and have them see how ill she is and they’ll send her home and she says they absolutely don’t do that and that it still wouldn’t matter because she’d still go in to an unpaid leave of absence and get fired :(
