He wants Anal, and I'm scared

My husband wants to try anal, and every time we do I scream because I'm scared, not because it hurts and I keep telling him not now, maybe tomorrow. I really want to do this for him because he wants to, and part of me does too. What can I do to make it easier to docit or make it painless?
