UK GALS! Which pain relief?

So it’s that dreaded time of the month...and my pain is absolutely awful! What meds do you guys use and find are the most effective?

I had to get some tablets prescribed for me. tranexamic acid, mefanamic acid (although I don't take that one as apparently isn't good for fertility!) alverine citrate... Nothing else helps me! maybe a hot water bottle every now and then may help! I also put ibuprofen gel on my tummy! hope you find something that helps you!!!

I use feminax....the pink box...as there's pink and blue....but I found the blue box doesn't work as good!! But I get god awful cramps and feminax really eases mine...but I've got to take them regular, think it's every 4 hours you can take them and can tell when They are wearing off!

i usually just do tylenol..  since midol is just basically tylenol only difference is midol has caffeine in it
