Okay, so I was planning on going out tonight, but my boyfriend has a huge problem with it and won’t let me go unless he goes with. I’m going with a friend of mine who is a girl. It’s not like I’m going alone or with another guy or to hook up with another guy or something, but that’s what he thinks. I am so sick and tired of him having so much control over me and not trusting me. He says he trusts me, but he just doesn’t trust guys and he doesn’t want me to get hit on. I told him even if I were to get hit on, I would just tell them I’m already taken and show them my promise ring I’m wearing (and that I never take off). But he doesn’t believe me and says that he just has a problem with it. What should I do? I just want to have a girls night out with my friend.. he goes out with his friend every single weekend, but if I tell him I’m not comfortable with all the girls he talks to and even ADDS ON FACEBOOK, I’m just “jealous and worrying over nothing.” He still talks to his exes and is friends with them on Facebook as well, and I said that it bothered me and he said that and didn’t do anything about it. I feel like he doesn’t trust me and that he has all of the control in our relationship and that I can never do anything without his permission or with him with me. What should I do? How do I get him to understand that I’m not going to cheat on him or leave him, and that he has nothing to worry about, and that I just want to go out with my friend like he does every. Single.
