Weight loss?

I’ve been trying to lose weight for awhile but, gave up because nothing I was trying was working. About a week and half I decided to try again. I stopped eating so much and tried to watch my calorie intake and stopped drinking pop completely until Saturday which was my birthday and we had a party. I know it’s only been almost 2 weeks but I kinda see a difference. Does anyone else? I weighed and i have only lost 1.5 pounds. ( ignore the scaring I had surgery and they had to blow my stomach up with gas, causing stretch marks.)
