bleeding after sex

Hey girls, so everytime after sex me and my bf would clean up ourselves like we always do (go pee and wash up etc.). But for the past few sessions we've been noticing blood. There wasn't any blood the first few times we did it but the past few there was blood. I was wondering if it's because I'm dry or is it something else? Blood is bright colored and clear with streaks. He's not rough at all during sex. We've been together for almost a month now and before that I haven't had sex for almost a year. Everytime we do it we start off raw, and midway he would put on a condom. (My last period was March 9-14th) A few days ago I noticed spotting. Is it normal? I'm also planning on going on birth control
