Yasmin pill side effects

So, I was prescribed Yasmin recently to treat the symptoms of my PCOS (cystic acne and hirsutism mainly). I already have the copper iud so im not taking the pill as a contraceptive. I started my period and taking the pill 3 days ago. I've had an even heavier than usual flow, really bad migraines and cramps, I'm really emotional and my breasts feel quite sore..all fun right? But even better than that I woke up today with a massively swollen upper lip! I've gone to the pharmacy and they've said they don't know what it is..that it doesn't look like a coldsore, and I've never had a cold sore before either. has this happened to anyone else? could it be linked? I don't see any other explanation.... Update: gone to GP this morning, she's said it most likely is caused by the pill but not to stop taking it as It's likely my body needs time to get used to it. She has prescribed anti viral cream and tablets for the next 5 days..will see how it goes
