Unique or Traditional baby names?

I'm really liking the name Maria. It's was a very common name a couple of decades ago, but I don't know anyone naming their daughter Maria now a days. Most of my family doesn't like it cus they feel it's not special enough but, I like simple, strong, names.

Traditional names are unique now bc people keep naming their kids weird shit. I love Maria. This is why we aren't telling our name until birth so people can't give us any input as it will already be set in stone

I like unique names. Probably because I'm a teacher, so I associate potential baby names with students I've had in the past. We names our son Kennex.

If my baby is a girl her name will be Noemi Faith which is his mothers middle name and my middle name. (Yes my name is Hope Faith in Spanish, Esperanza Fe). If I have a boy is Vincenzo Benjamin. He is Italian and men name their first son after there dad. My husband is named after his grandpa and Benjamin is the name of my great grandpa, grandpa, dad, brother and nephew. And first born son has the middle name too. We go by traditions.

I don't like extremely outrageous, unique names. For each of my girls, I've tried to have a semi-modern first name, and a more classic, traditional middle name. We went with Chloe Irene, Ava Kathleen, and hopefully Adalyn Gayle.

I like unique names but not crazy names or crazy spellings. Just something that's interesting without wondering if your child will grow up hating you 😉
