Cloth or disposable diapers?

I'm pregnant with my second baby, and I'm considering using cloth diapers. I used disposable for my first and still am. He's 22 months old, but we are about to potty train. I would love to hear your experiences with cloth diapering.

I cloth diapered my second. You will save about two thousand with the first child you cloth diaper and about three thousand each additional child. I loved it. Will do it again when we have our next. I also used cloth wipes. When exclusively breastfeeding it all just goes into the washer no need to scrape. When formula or food feeding then you can scrape it off/spray it off or buy liners that you then just flush. I actually teach a cloth diaper seminar at my hospital. Try to find one in your area to get hands on play with different types.

I am in the same spot as you !!! :) ... the one thing I have learned so far is to buy a sprayer that hooks up to your toilet so you can pretty much rinse the diaper off in the toilet. However if you have a utility sink in your laundry room, to clean fish or really muddy items that would probably work just as well.
