how many weeks did it take you to be able to lay on your side again im almost 4 weeks pp and getting in and out of bed still hurts

I slept in a chair for the first month following my cesarean.

Do you have a binder? That was huge for me. I used the hospital one.

Thankfully, i was able to after a week. Sleeping on my stomach took about a month. I’m horrible at sleeping on my back, I barely sleep. I’ll maybe get an hour if I’m lucky. And not even a consecutive hour. It was about 10 minutes here and there. I was miserable in the hospital.

It’s took me 6 weeks to be able to get out of bed again, and to sleep on my stomach.

3 days after. 
I’m 3 weeks, 2 days PP and almost back to normal! I lay on my back, both sides and stomach. I was having trouble with nighttime feedings until we borrowed an Arms Reach co-sleeper, now it’s much easier. 
Invest in a pair of compression leggings. They make a HUGE difference. I have the Belly Bandit Mother Tucker Capri and the Belly Bandit C-section panty. They are both AMAZING for support and compression(although the leggings are too sheer to wear alone). I tried a belly wrap but it just ended up hurting my incision. These put pressure on the incision in a good way. Ive also been putting Scar Away patches on the incision since around 2 weeks so that is also some extra cushion.
