Torn blood vessel
Yesterday around 5PM I was out with my husband, children, and family at a restaurant to celebrate my 23rd birthday. I felt the urge to go to the bathroom so naturally, I went. I then see blood. Lots of blood. I should be about 7 weeks and 3 days according to the first day of my last MP. I clean myself up and go back to carry on with the dinner. I tell my husband what is going on through a text because he texted me urging me to spill the beans about our newest addition. My doctor can not get me in for another month so I decided I wanted to go to the ER after we put the kids down. My best friend came over and stayed with the kids as we made our way to the hospital. Blood cultures and urine tests both come back positive. Doctor did a quick ultra sound in the room then an ultrasound tech took me away for a more in depth one. My husband was not allowed into the ultrasound room due to it not being “a routine ultrasound” per the hospital policy. I was overjoyed to hear the heart rate of 123. Than as the ultrasound concluded the UT showed me a black spot and said, “this black spot is where you are bleeding from”. He went on to tell me I have a torn blood vessel which separated the sack from the uterus. Lifting or something as simple as sneezing could have caused this. I am ordered to be on complete bed rest until a follow up confirms the blood vessel has heeled and there is no more bleeding. No sex, no walking around, no lifting my other babies. Up and down to Leeann shower. He said there is no way of knowing the severity or how long this has been like this. I could easily bleed and lose everything, be in bed rest for nine months, or heel up and baby and I will be fine. Please keep our baby in your thoughts and preachers. Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for your kind words.
