How many middle names?

How do you guys feel about 2 middle names? I’m Swedish so my siblings and I, cousins, our parents, grandparents, great grandparents, all my friends, everyone has THREE names plus their last name. I want to keep that tradition for my children by using one of my grandparents or great grandparents names as one of their middle names on top of the modern/new names my SO and I have chosen as first and middle. He says it’s okay if I can make it flow and that it’ll be exotic to have some super Swedish names, but doesn’t want it to sound like a stretch or too much of a mouthful... He is also Mexican so he is adamant our children will have both his and my last name (in that order: father’s last name - mother’s last name) Which means our baby (and future babies will have 5 names... Is that too overwhelming or could it be cute if done right?

I’m doing two. We have a traditional middle name and I want my daughter to also have her own. So I’m giving her two middle names

My family also does two middle names, so my husband and I did two middle names for our children as well. First name is unique to the child (not named after anyone), and middle names are family names, one from each side of the family. 
Five sounds like it could get overwhelming, but I’m sure you can pull it off!

do as you please but remember your children will have to write out all these names for the rest of their lives. imagine writing 5 names down on official documents and filling out applications. just seems like a lot of names. I am white and My husband is mexican...we are still going with just one last name. he has issues with 2 last names on paper work. not worth putting our kids thru that.  just my opinion.
