We've been ttc for almost 4 years and my previous doc just threw his hands up and said go see a specialist! I asked him about clomid and said he didn't like to prescribe it because of the risk of multiples. So I found a new doc. Sperms good I'm ovulating so it shouldn't be a problem to get pg but it is. She ran a thyroid test. Waiting for results but at least she gave me the clomid but she said if this doesn't work then I have to go to a specialist. What I explained to her was that I just wanted to exhaust every avenue at this level because once I go to the specialist now it's coming out of pocket since most insurance does not cover infertility. Has anyone else used clomid and got pg? And what are the side effects if any did you have?
