Wtf is up with all these women getting + hpt and negative blood hcg levels. That is really scary. It seems like maybe these urine tests are overly sensitive or something...I don't get it.

I agree that they are wanting to see a line so badly but in reality it's not there.

Either they think evaps are positives or because home tests are so sensitive now, they're catching chemicals or the docs are doing quantitive, which only says yes or no and your levels need to be at or above 25 for a yes.

My doctor told me that they actually trust home pregnancy test very much. So if you got a positive at home and their tests came back negative they would actually question their tests first!

A third of pregnancies are chemical. It's a large number many women don't even know they had a chemical bc their period comes. Some of the early pregnancy tests could pick up a chemical and that's why they are seeing they are "pregnant" and then blood test would say negative. I know it's extremely hard to wait to take a test until your missed period, but I think it would be way worse to see a positive then find it its negative. Be patient and wait.

Because the women are so anxious to be pregnant, they are taking tests too early and the egg is not implanting.

I swear I read on here earlier somewhere that a woman had a blood draw with a hcg level of 252 and still had neg pt. Good lord how disheartening
