Do you intend to celebrate Mother's Day this year?

Im a first time mom, only 12weeks along, and  am I wondering if I'm supposed to celebrate. I don't feel quite like a mama yet even though I've made drastic life changes for my little growing peanut already. I'm just curious to see how other moms feel. And if you're not a ftm, did you celebrate when you were only pregnant? I hope this post does not offend anyone! If you feel you deserve a mother's day then don't let anyone take that from you! I am just curious, personally.

When I was pregnant with my first we celebrated “ not being a momma yet day” sleep in, rest and take it easy for the day since it wont happen again for a long time!

My mother in law got me a gift card last year and said I was a good dog mom 😂😂😂. I’d love flowers or a card, but don’t know that I would do much else. My aunt never had kids, so I try and do something with her for Mother’s Day so she feels the love even if she didn’t give birth.

When I was a ftm pregnant on Mother’s Day my fiancé and mother in law got me cards and flowers. Other than that I didn’t really celebrate

We did with my first.He was a December baby.  We celebrated mothers and Father's day. so go for it!

Well I should be getting my gender scan sometime around Mother’s Day or my birthday (may 15) so can’t wait! That will be my moms day gift

I always did with my first and had dad celebrate Father’s Day too the way I look at it is you have a baby with a beating heart your already a mother just not born yet .

I already have a son, so it's a given. Lol. I already have a very busy weekend that weekend so I took the whole weekend off from work. My kind of celebration! lol. I'm hoping I can schedule my anatomy scan for that Friday and do a little reveal on Mother's day again.   When I was pregnant with my son we found out the Saturday before and revealed to my mom and family on Mother's day. My husband didn't celebrate it, but my mom got me a sun flower. (my favorite)

I didn't think to celebrate when I was pregnant but my husband ended up getting me a card for the day and it was sweet lol it's really up to you!
