I'm 19 and just had my baby boy and for advice I guess just make sure you have only positive people around you, figure out what your plan is for finances! Remember there's only so much you can plan for. have a baby shower!! I wasn't going to have one but my mom set it up and thank god because after the shower I pretty much didn't have to buy anything! Diapers and wipes add up veryy quickly 😅 no matter what worries or complications might come up throughout the pregnancy stay positive and calm as possible! I advise to get the epidural 😂 your choice of course!! but it is a life saver🙏🏼 andd there's really nothing that can give your life more purpose  😋 congrats!

I’m a young mom. I’m 20 and pregnant with my second. I love being a mom. My advice is to just get your finances in order and start looking into things like breastfeeding versus formula and things of that nature.

I’m 19 also and 18 weeks this week, the first thing I did was get my own insurance through Medicaid and it’s been a lifesaver because my parents are uninsured. I also am on wic because I’ve been too sick to work until recently and they’re super helpful and knowledgeable!

I am 19, 20 this month (April) I’m currently pregnant and due any time now with my second (I have a almost 3 year old boy) expecting a girl. My advice is accept all the help you are offered, don’t take any shit from anyone you are him or hers mommy and to soak up all of the baby stage !! 💕 it flies by! congrats . I love being a young mom. It’s hard but worth it.

I’m 18 and had a baby almost two months ago, definitely keep a healthy diet throughout pregnancy. Tea tree oil helps a lot with nausea if you get hit hard with that, and also your doctor can perceive something for it if it’s an issue. Rub coconut oil on your body like it’s going out of style and (when you get closer to delivery) also rub some type of oil on your lady parts down there to help stretching. I wish I would have taken that tip more seriously cause those stitches hurt so bad! And don’t be afraid to ask for drugs if you need them during labor. I was in the hospital stuck at five cm for almost 30 hours before I could start pushing! Do some sort of light workout to strengthen you lower body so pushing is easier as well. Stock up on diapers and wipes and that sort of thing. If you can get on wic, they’ll help with food for you and when you give birth they will help with formula (if that’s how you choose to feed baby) and try to think about finances and long term goals. And SLEEP WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
