if youve gotten your period back while bf, how long did it take for you to get it after giving birth and how many times a day were you breastfeeding?

Answer

Yes. Both times, my period came back at 8 weeks PP. It’s not guaranteed that you won’t have a period the entire time you breastfeed. Some of us aren’t that lucky.

My PP bleeding stopped at 3 or 4 weeks. By 8weeks pp I was back to my regular 30days cycle, I was breastfeeding and pumping too.

I’m still waiting just shy of a year, up until my son turned 11m I was breastfeeding ever three hours and over night. Now it’s almost every five to six hours and only  feed twice at night

I just got mine 1 year postpartum and my baby is down to two feedings a day and hasn’t eaten at night since she was 6 months old so it really depends on your bodies own hormones!

My came back about 8 weeks after my postpartum bleeding stopped, which was about 16-17 weeks PP. It's now normal and more regular than pre baby. I'm EBF and he eats every 2-3 hrs.

Got my period at 6 months postpartum. Now two months later still waiting to get it again. Very irregular.
