Why Am I So Scared?!

Question

I need encouragement. I am still terrified I am going to miscarry. I had an ultrasound at 8 weeks and baby measured exactly on time and had a heartbeat of 164 bpm. Then I went to the doctor at 11 weeks. No ultrasound, but they listened with a Doppler and found the baby easily. Heartbeat was 171 bpm. I’m almost 12 weeks now. I should not be worrying right?!

I’m the same, haven’t been to the doctors in a few weeks and am having bad dreams and worries about miscarrying.. I’ve had one miscarriage and it’s hard to get it out of your head ☹️ good luck! I just try and tell myself positive mantras like “my body is capable of having a healthy pregnancy” or “I’m growing a happy and healthy baby inside me” stuff like that

They should really do US every two weeks. I got one at 8+5, now I’m 10+4, next one is 12+5 🤦🏻‍♀️
4 weeks between USs in first trimester is torture 😫

I’m in the same boat. Just had my second u/s today and baby is fine, was even wiggling and moving on the screen. I work at a trauma 1 hospital and see sick babies all the time. It makes me a paranoid FREAK of not only something going wrong post partem but even during pregnancy. I just feel like it’s too good to be true especially since I’m not near as sick as I was with my son 8 years ago. With him I was young (21) and was naive and had NOT A SINGLE WORRY. Now I’m 29 and worry about anything and everything that could go wrong 😭

The chances of miscarriage once a heartbeat is seen or heard after 8 weeks is .5 percent... which carried through all the way to birth. You’ll be fine

this is my second baby and I am worring more this time then I did with the first. but the er knows who I am already and it's embarrassing. but I do have a worry problem and I can't take my Zoloft so I'm a little wacko. but they said they understand.

Its ok is this your first? I have the same worry im 11 weeks and my baby is perfectly fine according to the dr and tests but i still worry and stress. Its natural as a mother to worry about your childs health. Just try not to stress over it to much. Your baby is healthy and fine, your always gonna worry about them, thats a mothers job but have faith that its going to be ok.
