What do you think about couples getting divorced over small issues now a days?

I think people getting divorced over small things just quit. 
I think people turn to divorce far too easily in today’s society and it’s sad.
You have to make that conscious decision to love someone every day. You have to work and try and fight for each other... unfortunately today it’s easier to just call it quits.

I think that no one ever truly knows what happens in a relationship other than the couple themselves. That being said, I think that something that seems small to some people might be really big for that couple. I don’t believe in judging other people’s relationship decisions. Do what makes you happy, and don’t rush into marriage until you know what you want.

Everything is so replaceable now days. No one likes to put in the work to fix things anymore. Divorce use to be a taboo thing and now it’s so common.

I don’t think people get divorced over small things. I think people have their own requirements in relationships and their own perception of what is a big thing and what is a small thing. I’ll use myself as an example, I had an abusive alcoholic step father. If my husband decided to make his social drinking a regular occurrence that is a huge issue FOR ME. If he wasn’t willing to slow down on the drinking that would be a deal breaker. Other women like a bottle of wine with dinner everyday, so for them it wouldn’t be an issue at all. That doesn’t mean it’s a small issue.

What can I say? That’s not my path. I suppose some people need to learn certain lessons the hard way.

Well first, no one can label issues as "small things" except the couple. Second, I disagree with the assumption that divorced couples didn't try hard enough to make it work. I personally have been through a divorce but we tried for YEARS to make it work. Literally years. We went to counseling. We changed our communication style several times. We talked for countless hours, looking for a solution. We did try, and that's one of the reasons why we can now, 2 years later, be at peace with our decision because we did try so hard. Not everyone just gets divorced just because.

Personally I think it became to easy to just give up instead of trying to fix the problems or even talk about them. My husband and I have been through a lot with the time of know each other (being homeless, living out of a truck, losing two pregnancies) but we talk to one another and now we a wonderful/beautiful daughter, planning our second. He’s got a really good job and we are in the process of being first time home owners♥️ 
If true love is there you can get through ANY and EVERYTHING but talking to one another and supporting each other is key💕
