Was anyone able to find out the gender durning their Down syndrome test ultrasound?

12 weeks is too early to tell the gender via ultrasound. Most offices won’t tell you gender if you have an ultrasound before 18 weeks or so, even if they can tell. There is a lot of room for error at that point, and they don’t want to tell you the wrong thing.

I didn't find out via ultrasound, they did the down syndrome blood test and they found out the gender

I opted for the gender and abnormalities test... not the ultrasound. too early for ultrasound.

It should also be a blood test with this ultrasound, so yes. You should find out.

I tried to today during my 12 week genetic blood work but was told my insurance won’t pay for the gender test unless you’re over the age of 35 with a history of various things. And I already knew it’s too early to be able to tell on the ultrasound.

I didn’t with my first as there was a higher risk and they couldn’t do it on ultrasound but this time I’m going to :)
