Thrush?

I think my 4 week old has thrush, can thrush go away on its own? He has his one month check up this upcoming Monday, is it ok to wait til then?

He needs meds for it. Both my older boy's got it too, when they were like 5 or 6 months old. It passed to my breasts which caused me to dry up and I was no longer able to nurse. I was so sad and felt so bad for them (& they're 2 years apart btw) 😔 hope your little one feels better soon, I don't know if I'd wait that long either, it spreads quickly.

He will need an anti-fungal most likely. Call his doctor and ask if it’s safe to wait until Monday. You probably wouldn’t want to wait until Monday if you had a vaginal yeast infection though; thrush feels the same but in your mouth and throat.
