I am 21 and my Gynecologist said I have pcos and I have been trying for my second baby my first son took me 2 years to even get pregnant what do the women who have it do to help ?

I’ve heard losing weight helps. I’m still struggling to lose weight though.

Paleo diet and ask your doctor if you can go on topical progesterone. Paleo works great for those of us with PCOS because we often have an insulin deficiency- which means carbs and sugar make it impossible for us to lose weight. I was trying everything under the sun- working out 6 days a week and eating a super clean diet and wouldn’t loose anything. Then I went paleo and I’ve lost 22 pounds without even working out. 🤷‍♀️ something to try at least. Topical progesterone is a less risky alternative to metformin or birth control- which are usually what they want to put PCOS women on. Plus progesterone helps you to ovulate- not just have a period like the others do. Period and ovulation are very different things. 
The best advice I could give would be to do your own research- and find a doctor that is on the same page as you are about how to go about managing it.
