Tea tree oil on piercings?

Did tea tree oil help your piercings or make them irritated?

You’re not supposed to put undiluted tea tree oil on anything. Especially not healing wounds

Please do not do not do not (say it with me ) do not put oil of any kind onto a piercing. Use antimicrobial soap and salt water(warm) other than that leave the extra "yeah girl try this out" remedies alone....

Best thing to clean piercings with is warm water with sea salt. They actually sell cleaners that are made with sea salt. And over cleaning it will make it worse

I had a bump on my tragus piercing an within a couple days it went down! It helped a bunch for me - but I’ve heard a lot of people say you shouldn’t 🙄🤔

I've never tried this, but my piercer says no essential oils of any kind so...
