first ultrasound- should I be scared?

So I try not to read the scary posts on here- especially because I haven’t had my first appt yet- it’s this Friday!! but is it just me or does it seem like girls go in for their first scan and then turn up with heavy bleeding right after?! I know this doesn’t go for everyone but it just worries me- maybe I shouldn’t get a scan this time?

I had no bleeding from the first ultrasound during my first pregnancy. It is a little uncomfortable, but that’s about it! Don’t worry or stress about it!

I had my first appointment yesterday at 8w3d and had a transvaginal ultrasound done. Not going to lie, it’s a little uncomfortable but it’s so worth it being able to see your baby and hear the heartbeat. So far I haven’t had any bleeding whatsoever. Hopefully this helps at least a little! Congrats! (:
