I’m so excited I could explode!

My partner and I have been trying to get pregnant for 6 months. Every month, when my period came, I felt such sadness.

I went to the doctor today to have a chest x-ray done because I’ve been quite sick for the past 9 days. They asked if there was any chance of pregnancy. I let them know that we had been trying so they had me go to the lab first.

I sat and waited to get called into radiology. 10 minutes, 15 minutes and finally at 30 minutes a woman came out and asked me to follow her. Not into the radiology door but a doctors office. She let me know that the test came back positive.

I IMMEDIATELY started crying and cupped my head in my hands. When I finally looked up she asked me if I was happy and in broken tears and a big smile said “so happy, we’ve been trying for months!”

I came home and told Mikey who immediately grabbed me, hugged me and cried himself.

Not believing the news (because I am crazy) I took a home pregnancy test also. POSITIVE!!!

I am so happy we didn’t give up trying and stayed hopeful. Here’s to life’s next adventure!!
