High prolactin?

Question

Any advice on prolactin will be much appreciated! Just found out mines at 72 and I am ttc. 
Was yours high? How high? Did you get a MRI for the tumor? Were you able to get pregnant? What medication did you take? 
Anything helps 😩😢

Ugh, this was the pits. I tested high as well although I don't know the numbers. Doctor had me do an MRI and there was nothing ($650 later). I was happy for that, of course, but it was still such a hassle. She then put me on Cabergoline and the levels went down! I'm now 9 weeks pregnant and off the Cabergoline! Good luck to you. I had that same problem, my prolactin level was at 100.... the slightest thing can trigger a high reading such as stress, sensation in the nipples even sex, so she made me take the test again a month later and it was normal

My levels were elevated. Stopped my bc and what do you know, my levels went back to normal but if not there are medications they do provide. I'm a year into ttc and no such luck yet. I do have the tumor but everything is okay and now we're trying every natural route in order to conceive our first baby. We finally go for our pre-conception appointment In May. We're nervous and excited but hopeful (:

I was slightly elevated and they retested the following month and it was normal. Hopefully the same thing happens for you!
