I always tell my babe Goodnight when i'm tired and about to lie down, even if he doesn't respond to my last text from however long ago. If he responds right away, I'm a little upset to think he didn't want to make time for me with the time inbetween the last text to the Goodnight. When he responds in the morning, saying he fell asleep before i did, i'm upset again cause he didn't say Goodnight. I feel like a child even thinking about it.. it just bothers me, i think of him most when I'm falling asleep so it's a little intimate to me, when it gets late, to at least say good night..

I’m right with you ! Sometimes i send the goodnight text just to see if i get a response and when i do I’m instantly annoyed . I’m so petty tho so i ignore him when he texts me good morning the next day

Never bothers me and personally I don't think it's that deep BUT if something is important to you, you should speak up! He should know how you feel and how it's important to you but he can't read minds so communicate.

I used to be the exact same until my so explained it to me that he just sometimes falls asleep unexpectedly that he doesn't get a chance to say goodnight. He does say it when he knows he's about to fall asleep though. And for the not replying thing are you guys talking about something important or just random texting? I sometimes don't reply myself or change the subject when I honestly have nothing else to say. I wouldn't take it to heart or feel bad because there so many different relevant reasons why this is happening. Hope I helped.

It is super annoying i know, but i often have to remind myself im a dits when it comes to answering people 😂 sometimes ill be on Pinterest so im like yeah ill just message them after, and thats like an hour later or when they text me again it reminds me lmao

Sometimes people fall asleep before they intended to? Like I don’t always think “okay I’m going to go to bed now! Let’s say goodnight and fall asleep!” Sometimes I just fall asleep in the middle of texting someone. I have fallen asleep in the middle of watching tv, doing work, anything really. As long as he texts you in the morning I don’t see the big deal.
