So my husband and I are very discouraged. We've been trying for our first child for 2 yrs now. I've been on Clomid, ovidrel, and pregesterone for the last 3 months and just started month 4. My husband and I have both been tested for infertility problems and everything came back perfect. But we're still not pregnant. Yesterday we had a consult with our doctor who recommended that if it doesn't work again that we should try invetro. However, our insurance doesn't cover it and it's $15,000. We were told about a company that will pay it and we'll make payments to them but we would prefer waiting because we don't want to be paying on it if the invetro doesn't work (too depressing). I've been considering donating my eggs. It pays well and I would be helping someone else have a family. But I'm also uneasy to give them away when I don't have a child of my own yet. Sorry about the long post but I need to vent and maybe get a little feedback.
