When is best to have your baby shower?

I'm having a lot of folks ask when I'm having my baby shower. I am 17w2d and was thinking closer to my 6 month mark in early June. Let me know what you think or how you did it and how it worked out.

I’m due in August and I am having it in mid May to avoid conflicts with all the graduation parties that happen in June. It’s a little early, but I don’t want to do it at 8 months in July which would be the alternative

Most people have the shower the last couple months of pregnancy. Who’s offered to throw the shower? They will be the ones to plan it.

A lot of people started asking about my shower and registry early on, but I just told them I’d let them know as soon as I knew, which I did.
I’ll be 31 weeks at my shower, which is perfect because I think 2 months before the due date leaves just the right amount of time to finish preparing.

I had mine at 28w and was so grateful for the extra time to get everything set up and buy what we didn't receive. Cause let's be honest, by 34w I didn't feel like doing anything 😂😂💕
