Alarmingly Late

Hi! After being on the pill for about two years, I decided to stop taking it about 6 weeks ago after getting really tired of the nasty side effects. Still no period, but I'm not sure if I should be worried since it was so irregular before the pill. Anyone have this happen before? How long should I wait before hitting the panic button?
