Are you waiting until 12 weeks to tell people?

I’m 6 weeks tomorrow and I’m curious how many people spill the beans early. I personally have told all my close friends and my siblings. I’m waiting a few more days to tell my parents. I don’t know why that one is so hard for me! I know they’ll be ecstatic! I’m not sure how my SO’s mom will respond. I don’t think he’s ready to tell her yet. I’m bursting to tell everyone!

I literally told anyone who would listen!!! my sister-in-law waited to tell everybody  and still miscarried so I like to live in the moment thank God and enjoy each day being pregnant!!!!

We have announced it to our family and close friends, also in the church. It is my first pregnancy and whatever happens, I do not want to deprive myself for fear of emotion. I trust in God that he will bless this pregnancy. In Facebook we want to wait more maybe 12 wks

I lost my 1st baby at 19 weeks. So waiting means nothing to me because there is no safe zone! I’m choosing to celebrate this life as long as I have it so I will be telling everyone next week at 8 1/2 weeks :)

I waiting until later to announce on Facebook as I haven’t officially announced that my last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. But we told family and close friends already.

We’ve told our immediate families, and I’ve told my best friend since diapers. But that’s the extent of our telling people. 3 of our neighbors are like our best friends and we still haven’t told them yet! I can’t tell you why, I just like to wait until I’m a few weeks in to tell people 🤷🏻‍♀️ social media will know sometime between 13-20 weeks.

I told my family and a few close friends at 6 weeks, we are almost 7 weeks. It depends on you as a person. I’ve got a very open personality and this has been the only thing I’ve been discreet about (to those I see day to say) I think because it’s kinda private but as some point everyone will start noticing and I guess the jig is up by then! (I have a little belly but been covering it with long sweaters)
Also I don’t announce things so maybe that’s why but anyway it’s your own style, wouldn’t get hung up over the “rules” or opinions that one way is right over the other. It’s whatever makes you feel comfortable.
