Curious on my chances that it could be a true positive and not residual from the miscarriage. Recheck next week, they drew bloodwork to check levels.

Thank you everyone. Doctor rechecked today at 4 weeks post op and the test came back negative. We're given the clear to try again and he said I should get my period in the next 2 weeks.

Depends how far along you were when you MC. 
I was only 5w1d and my levels were back to 0 the day I started bleeding. I tested out to bfn as well on hpts just to be sure.

If there veryyyy faint could be from your recent one. Wait a couple days and if the lines get darker could be. A new pregnancy.
