New Diagnosis
After 9 months of ttc and several attempts to see my OBGYN because something felt off, I finally got into her office because I kept getting negative OPKs. Today, two whole weeks after my pelvic sonogram, I had to call her office to find out the results. Turns out my ovaries show PCOS (which my mother and sister both have - and I told her this when we started trying to conceive). The nurse said she would discuss next steps with my doctor and call back, but I just feel so lost. Just looking for support, I guess. My best friend is pregnant (after 2 months of trying, of course) and it’s always been our dream to be pregnant together and it feels so far off and hard to see her even though I love her so much. Obviously, that’s not the only reason I’m having a hard time, my head is just reeling and I don’t know what to do or say. Sorry for the word vomit. Any kind words would be appreciated. ♥️
