Diva Cup Question

So I just bought a diva cup and I’ve inserted/taken it out a few times throughout the day (more than I normally would) just to try and get used to it. Its really nice for the fact that there is 0% leakage, I feel like I stay cleaner (I have a really heavy flow the first 2 days), and i don’t have to worry about tampons.

However, every time I take it out I feel like it’s lost for a second and it takes me a bit to get it out because it’s pretty far up.

I’m 24 and never had kids. So is this normal is it just me? I’m scared to keep using it because the last thing I want is an ER visit to need help getting it out! Lol.
