Seconds thoughts...
My obgyn ran a bunch of tests and diagnosed me with PCOS. After 3 rounds of Clomid and no follow up blood work I get told there’s nothing more they can do for me and I need to see a specialist. I haven’t ovulated on my own since going of bc in June (without Clomid) so naturally I panicked when the specialists office said first available appointment isn’t for another 2 months! Luckily, I found a different doctor covered by my insurance who squeezed me in for next week.
After further reflection, I feel like I’m about to back out of this appointment. We aren’t to the point of IVF or IUI yet so what’s the point of seeing the specialist? Maybe my body will now ovulate on its own since I’ve successfully ovulated 3 times (with medical help I realize but anything can happen). I’m already on Metformin too so what else could this doctor possibly do for us? Any experiences or insights you can share would be helpful!
