I have spoken to MANY hair stylists and midwives about bleaching and the amount that actually enters your body system is minuscule. As long as you are in a ventilated salon (I would recommend dying your hair at home) then you should be fine. ALWAYS get tested as the pregnancy hormones can change the sensitivity of your skin.

It's perfectly safe to dye your hair in a well ventilated salon. Bleaching is technically not safe.

It’s safe. My SIL does hair for a living and just had her second kid. I dyed my hair after 12 weeks and I’ll be getting done again before my baby gets here.

demi permanents are much better than permanents, only bc some permanents contain ammonia. i would stay away from bleaching, bc its bleach. (from me, a stylist)
