My little guy just turned five months old. For the past month he’s taken a long first nap and a really rocky (fights it and sometimes cries through the whole thing) second nap. Come five months he’s down to one nap, but a very long one—3.5 to five(!!!) hours long. He never has a meltdown and sleeps pretty good at night (average, I think; wakes 2-3 times a night to eat). The only time he really fusses is if I try to get him to take another nap—then he vocally protests (and cries through the whole thing)

! When we skip it, he’s still super good natured. Should I be worried he isn’t taking 3-4 short naps over the course of the day?
